Jembrana Cocoa (West Bali)
Flavor profile description
Jembrana cocoa tastes like premium chocolate with a familiar nutty flavor, complemented by the signature spice notes of Bali. It has a bold finish, making it especially well-suited for drinking chocolate. It is also perfect for dark chocolate bars (70–75%) that highlight terroir, and equally excellent as a single-origin couverture for fine pastry.

Farming practice of Jembrana Cocoa
This origin is grown organically, intercropped with coconut and banana. Fermented beans are solar-dried, and the coop held UTZ and organic certifications, although these certifications have not been renewed.
Jembrana is home to extensive organic cacao plantations supported by a few local processing facilities. The local government is actively working to strengthen sustainable practices, including initiatives in waste management.
